About
After moving to a certified West Coast Big City four years ago, I discovered that my standard communities (barn dancing, chicken chasing, and talking story) were no longer appropriate. When attempts to bring barn dancing and chicken chasing back into style in the city failed, I decided to take talking story to the internet. So far, it has not failed.
As you might guess, I am a country girl first — I like the outdoors and talking story with people I love. I am also a young woman struggling to find an identity as a feminist, a girl with professional aspirations trying to figure out where a mental illness diagnosis fits into her journey, an agnostic trying to figure out her perspectives on faith and how she fits in on this world.
Right now, this blog is a little about all of those things. It’s also about transitions. And talking story. Because we need to talk more story.
I hope you enjoy these stories.
